He's a good Game Day manager, but not a good evaluator of talent. Very weak and inexperienced staff. Does not believe in having a dedicated pitching coach. He is very ethical and a good person off the field. He will take the time to talk to his players individually, but does not take suggestions from his players well and his conversations are mostly one-sided, with only him talking or yelling. Not a good communicator during games. Does not spend time on development. Tells the players to go work it out themselves and never goes over film or does game reviews. Also, does not share a scouting report on opponents with the girls. He does stress the importance of academics and does show the girls that academics are more important than softball. Also, did not keep some of the promises he made during recruiting.
