I’m not sure what is considered a “derogatory term” by this website, but this coach is most likely all of them. Very low soccer IQ overall and doesn’t know how to communicate to players or his staff. He has complete and utter disregard for his players’ feelings and only focuses on negative behaviors with ridiculously juvenile “punishments” for failure to meet his pitiful (and sometimes unknown) standards. I would provide specific examples here but I’m afraid of violating this site’s rules and/or providing details that would identify me and cause retaliation issues. In closing, my overall experience as a student athlete under this coach has been horrible at best, and downright criminal at worst. I’m hopeful that all of the Title IX complaints against him (by me as well as others) will someday be acted upon. Until then, my only advice is to steer clear and look at other schools.
