Coach Taylor is a great lacrosse coach and I’m very thankful I had the opportunity to play for her. She knows the game of lacrosse very well and is willing to share her knowledge, but you have to put in the effort to gain more from her. Going to office hours and seeking individual coaching is the best way to get her to work with you to develop you individually. If you don’t have as much time because of a large course load, you won’t get as much attention from her. That makes it a little difficult to balance athletics and academics and the DIII level. Coach Taylor can also be a little unprofessional at times at an attempt to “fit in” with the team. However, she is an overall great coach who has a deep knowledge of the game and has put tireless effort into building a program from the ground up.
