I'm back again! Because this woman does not deserve a coaching job. She has caused irreversible trauma, and I will be damaged from her for a long time. She turned my team against me. She scared them into ignoring others. She told the entire team to ignore a player and call the cops on her if we saw her on campus. She destroyed peoples love for the game, she ruined peoples lacrosse careers. I do not know how she sleeps at night knowing she caused so much damage. I hope whoever has to play for this woman gets the fake side of her, because the real Cristina Maurizi is a monster.

I played for this coach for about 3 years. She is a manipulative and egomaniac college lacrosse coach. During recruitment she was an entirely different type of coach, showing actual empathy and understanding. But, once you step onto the field with her, she does a full 180. She only cares about herself, and none of the actual players she is coaching in any type of way (emotionally, physically, etc.). I truly have no idea how she got a collegiate lacrosse job in the first place, let alone being a head coach of a female team. If you want a toxic team environment, then go and play for her. She'll turn anyone and everyone against you for absolutely nothing. Wish her nothing but the worst.

I played for this coach a few years ago. She emotionally and physically abused the team, and did not care about her injured players. I got injured and blamed for not being able to walk. Horrible coach, horrible experience, horrible person.

Unfortunately toxic coach and in turn a toxic environment. What a nightmare. Communication is confusing. She does not have our back and turns players against each other. She doesn't know how to be nice. If you like silent bus rides if you lose, and hearing how she won't be coach of the year because of you, and practicing for hours and hours with NCAA loopholes (like this practice is mandatory and I won't be there or you need to show up an hour before "actual" practice to warm up), then here it is. The school doesn't care, but it is what it is.

This coach is nothing like who she pretends to be when you visit the school. It's so bad it's almost confusing how she has two different personalities. She says very rude things about players and then when she's called out on it she says "That's not what I meant". Our school has done nothing to fix this. Make sure you love the school because you won't love the coach.

DO NOT PLAY FOR THIS COACH. She is verbally abusive and punishes the team. The school is great but she is terrible. She lies and manipulates everyone and they are scared of her.

Not the experience she portrays during recruiting. She is a completely different person than who she pretends to be. She is beyond difficult to deal with and doesn't promote a positive team environment at all. Players are afraid of her and we contemplate quitting daily. She forgets half the things she talks about. She knows the game but that's where it stops. Be very careful before committing to play for this coach and keep your expectations of a positive experience low.

This woman is an absolute psycho nightmare. She has created an atmosphere that is unhealthy and divisive that causes emotional distress. She lies, manipulates and is back-stabbing. DO NOT PLAY FOR HER!!

My experience over the last few years has been the opposite of what I expected. A third of the team quit because of our coach. So much yelling and berating.
