I found it difficult to feel motived after being coached by Brit. I used to love my sport and I had a great connection with my last coach, but Brit has a very impersonal coaching style and I found myself just going through the motions without improving. Her emails are also rather unorganized. For example she will send a practice reminder and at the bottom of the email provide critical team meeting information without mentioning the meeting in the header. Sometimes she will also send the details later by replying to the practice email instead of creating a dedicated thread for the meeting. I’m sure there are some that prefer her coaching style, but my passion for my sport is barely being held together by my friends and I doubt I will ever enjoy it as much as I did before.
