Some people really liked him as a coach, but those were mostly 4 year athletes who didn’t know any better. He had good workouts but as a person and the environment he created was not fun and everytime I would talk to him one on one I feel like he would put words in my mouth and never tried to listen. He made it hard for the teammates to become friends but i think that’s also just the vibe of the school itself and the type of people who went to the school. In addition, after training all summer I came in as a top runner and then by the end of the season I was depressed and ran the slowest race ever. I could keep going but overall I didn’t enjoy the woman’s running program at North Central and I do believe mahesh played a role in myself and other’s bad experience.
